Booking parking spaces inside the port area

Reduced Mobility Passengers (PRM) enjoy barrier-free access to the port, whether they arrive by car, by water or on foot. Parking, refreshment bar and toilets are all fully accessible. Operations preceding departure such as baggage drop-off, check-in, embarkation, and those after arrival such baggage claim, etc. are performed in facilities adequate to PRM needs, as they are equipped with ramps, lifts, mobile bridges, dedicated toilets, check-in desks and seats available in each terminal.
Wheelchairs are available in each terminal as well as dedicated assistance procedures.
In compliance with Article 23, paragraph 1 of the Regulation (EU) No 1177/2010 (the Regulation), Venezia Terminal Passeggeri S.p.A. (V.T.P.), within its area of competence, provides the public with information on the rights of passengers travelling by sea and inland waterways. A summary of the provisions of the Regulation is made available to the public on V.T.P.’s website as well as through information boards placed within the port premises. The same is also made available at the information points located in each terminal along with the list of the assistance services provided.
The carriers and the terminal operator, within their areas of competence, provide assistance to PRM passengers. In accordance with Article 11 of the Regulation (UE) n. 1177/2010, the passenger applying for assistance shall notify the carriers or the terminal operator of their specific needs at least forty eight (48) hours before the assistance is required.

In accordance with Article 12 of the above mentioned Regulation, PRM passengers may notify their arrival to the staff at the main entrance gate of the Passengers’ Port.

Venezia Terminal Passeggeri S.p.A. (VTP) and the carriers, within their areas of competence, makes available in the port areas into operation qualified staff to assist PRM passengers before the embarkation and after the disembarkation. The following assistance services are provided:

- Transfer from the entrance of VTP’s port facility to the terminal;
- Transfer from the departure hall to the ship’s gangway;
- Transfer from the arrival hall to the port facility exit;
- Assistance reaching toilet facilities.

Passengers applying for assistance shall inform VTP S.p.A. or the carrier within the prescribed time limits.
